QUITCLAIM DEED TO MORRIS AND GLORIA GLASSER
FOR CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, as a result of the realignment of Fairview Street,
the City is the owner of certain property located on the West side
of Fairview Street, North of Ninth Street, in the City of Santa Ana,
and it has now been determined that a portion of said property is
excess and of no use to the City and that it should be deeded to
MORRIS and GLORIA GLASSER, owners of the adjoining land, who have
expressed their desire to purchase the same for $2,000.00 through
Escrow No. 51188-K with Security Title Insurance Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a deed quitclaiming to MORRIS GLASSER and GLORIA GLASSER the City's
interest in that certain real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of the land conveyed to the City of Santa Ana
from J. Blake Woolbright, Et ux., by deed recorded July 5,
1961 in Book 5774, Page 442, Official Records of said
Orange County, lying Westerly of the following described
West line of Fairview Street:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 1 of Tract No.
2980 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 90, Page 19,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, said
point being a point in a non-tangent curve concave Westerly
and having a radius of 950.00 feet, the radial to said
curve at said point bears North 74° 39' 12" East; thence,
Northerly along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 27° 48' 17" an arc distance of 461.02 feet.
The grantor herein reserves all vehicular access rights to
Fairview Street from the lands above described, excepting
the Southerly 25 feet, measured along said West line of
Fairview Street.
and deliver the same to said owners.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of February, 1964.
