ADMINISTRATOR AND GRANTING A VARIANCE ON
APPLICATION NO. 1891 FILED BY WILLIAM
FRANCIS ROBB AND LOUISE W. ROBB, SUBJECT
TO CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Zoning Administrator
DENIED a variance on Variance Application No. 1891, filed by
WILLIAM FRANCIS ROBB and LOUISE W. ROBB, and Appeal Application
NO. 122 was duly filed by the applicants presenting the matter to
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing on notice,
has determined that said Variance Application meets the requirements
of Section 9250.8 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, that the decision
of the Zoning Administrator should be overruled, and that said
Variance should be granted subject to certain conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha does hereby overrule the decision of the
Zoning Administrator and does hereby grant a variance on Variance
Application No. 1891 to permit the construction of two one-bedroom
apartment units on an R-1 lot having an existing single family
residence and to reduce the required rear yard on property located
at 705 South Orange Avenue, Santa Ana, California. Said Variance
is granted subject to the following conditions:
1. That the development be according to plot plan.
That a landscaping plan be submitted to and approved by the
Planning Department; said plan to be implemented and
maintained.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of April, 1964.
