RESOLUTION OF INT,:NTION NO. 64-46
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER CHANGES
MADE TO THE WORK PREVIOUSLY ORDERED IN RESOLUTION NO.
62-177 PURSUANT TO ITS RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO.
62-156 IN THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN SEWER
LIMES TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES AND APPURTENANT WORK
WITHIN THE SAID CITY FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 218, AND FIXING THE
TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF OBJECTIONS TO CHANGES TO
THE WORK IN SAID ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana,
pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911" being
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, has heretofore passed and adopted its Resolution of
Intention No. 62-156 to order the work described therein in the
City of Santa Ana Assessment District No. 218 to be done and had
acquired jurisdiction to and has heretofore passed and adopted its
resolution ordering the same said work to be done by its Resolution
No. 62-177; and
WHEREAS, no contract has heretofore been awarded for
said construction and said Council had and still retains jurisdic-
tion of said matter and wishes to make certain changes in the work
previously ordered.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana, does resolve as follows:
SECTION I
That it is the intention of said City Council in the
City of Santa Ana Assessment District No. 218, pursuant to provi-
sions of Chapter 8.5, Part 3 of Division 7 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, to make the following
changes to the work heretofore ordered by its Resolution No. 62-177:
ELIMINATIONS OF WORK ORIGINALLY ORDERED in:
Harbor Boulevard, from approximately 250 feet North of
Camille to approxim'ately 150 feet South of Bolsa (First Street).
Harbor Boulevard, from and including the intersection o:
Bolsa Avenue (First Street) to approximately 150 feet South of
Fifth Street.

Camille Street, from approximately 100 feet West of
Jackson to Harper Street.
Fiqueroa Street, from the alley approximately 173 feet
North of Bolsa Avenue (First Street) to approximately 315 feet
South of Bolsa Avenue (First Street).
Bolsa Avenue (First Street) between Figueroa Street and
a point approximately 265 feet East of Figueroa.
Fairview (formerly known as Berrydale Street) from
Westminster ~venue (Seventeenth Street) to approximately 645 feet
North of Westminster Avenue (Seventeenth Street).
ADDITIONS TO WORK ORIGINALLY ORDERED in:
Fairview (formerly known as Berrydale Street) from
approximately 430 feet South of Westminster Avenue (Seventeenth
Street) to approximately 445 feet South of Westminster Avenue
(Seventeenth Street).
Harbor Boulevard, at the intersection of the first
alley North of Bolsa Avenue (First Street).
SECTION II
That said above proposed changes described in Section I
of this Resolution have been given full effect in Plan No. AD-218
as revised April 1, 1964, and Specifications No. AD-218 as revised
April 1, 1964. Said Plan No. AD-218 and Specifications No. AD-218
as revised are hereby accepted and approved by the City Council
of the City of Santa Aha, are on file with the City Clerk of the
said City (and a copy being on file in the office of the City
Engineer of said City), and reference is hereby made to original
Plan No. AD-218 and original Specifications No. AD-218 and to plan
No. AD-218 as revised April 1, 1964, and to Specifications No.
AD-218 as revised April 1, 1964, for a full and more particular
description of the changes herein proposed to said work and improve-
ment, and by reference thereto, the same are incorporated herein
and made a part hereof.
SECTION III
That the estimated costs and expenses of said work and
i~provement inclusive of the incidental expenses of the proceedings
will be increased by $12,000.00 from the original estimated costs
and expenses of $595,000.00.

SECTION IV
That notice is hereby given that on Monday, April 20,
1964, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, in the Cit'
Hall, in said City of Santa Aha, there shall be a public hearing
before said City Council for the purpose of determining whether
the changes proposed in this Resolution to the work in said
Assessment District No. 218 shall be made, and at which time and
place any and all persons having any objections to such proposed
changes may appear and show cause why the City Council should not
order said changes in the work in accordance with this Resolution.
Protests must be in writing and must be delivered to the Clerk of
the Council prior to the time set for the hearing.
SECTION V
That THE REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and
circulated in said City, is hereby designated as the newspaper in
which this Resolution of Intention to Make changes shall be
published by the Clerk of the Council in the manner and form
provided by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at a regular meeting thereof held this 6th day of April,
1964.
