CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, THE IRVINE COMPANY, a corporation, has delivered
to the City a deed dated May 14, 1964, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south sade of Seventeenth Street, east of
Westwood Avenue; and
WHEREAS, EDGAR E. COX and DORIS W. COX have delivered a
deed dated April 21, 1964, conveying to the City an easement for
street purposes at the southwest corner of Seventeenth Street
and Lincoln Avenue; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL'S MARKETS, INC. has delivered to the City
a deed dated May 20, 1964, quitclaiming their interest to an ease-
ment for street purposes at the southwest corner of Seventeenth
Street and Lincoln Avenue conveyed to the City by Edgar E. and
Doris W. Cox; and
WHEREAS, C. J. ALEXANDER has delivered to the City a deed
dated May 1, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes south
of First Street, East of Bristol Street; and
WHEREAS, SAMUEL A. COOPER has delivered to the City a deed
dated May 16, 1964, conveying easements for sewer purposes at
Cooper Drive, south of Silver Drive; and
WHEREAS, STATER BROS. MARKETS, a corporation, has delivered
to the City a deed dated May 5, 1964, conveying an easement for
street purposes at the southeast corner of Fairview Street and
Edinger Avenue; and
WHEREAS, M. C. LARRABEE has delivered to the City a deed
dated May 19, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the south side of Eighth Street, 140 feet west of the center line
of English Street; and
WHEREAS, SANTA ANA VALLEY IRRIGATION COMPANY has delivered
to the City a deed dated May 20, 1964, quitclaiming to the City
all right, title and interest in and to the Santa Aha Valley
Irrigation Company's easements and water facilities frown east of
Lincoln Avenue on Seventeenth Street to east of Baker Street on
Eighth Street; and
WHEREAS, EGON A. GARDNER and HELEN A. GARDNER have delivered
to the City a deed dated May 25, 1964, granting vehicular access
rights to Seventeenth Street, east of Wright Street; and
WHEREAS, PAUL T. WISE and LORRAINE D. WISE have delivered
to the City a deed dated May 13, 1964, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the west side of Grand Avenue, 400 feet south
of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June, 1964.
