CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, DAVID J. OLIVAS and DOLORES OLIVAS have delivered
to the City a deed dated May 22, 1964, conveying easements for
drainage and incidental purposes and for access thereto 660 feet
east of Newhope Street, south of Bolsa Agenue, in consideration
of the payment of $660.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 869561-HRB with Orange County Title Company,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, HARRY W. PECOLAR and JOY PECOLARhave delivered a
deed dated May 16, 1964, conveying to the City an easement for
sanitary sewer purposes and a temporary construction easement
north of Silver Drive, east of Taft Street, in consideration of
the payment of $700.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 51722-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California; and
WHEREAS, JAMES A. STICE and PATRICIA STICE have delivered
to the City a deed dated May 16, 1964, conveying an easement for
sewer purposes south of Roosevelt Avenue, east of Taft Street, in
consideration of the payment of $550.00. Said transaction is to
be handled through Escrow NO. 51766-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY D. O. GROUP, a corporation, has
delivered to the City a deed dated May 8, 1964, conveying a parcel
of real property on the west side of '.Main ~ at Twentieth Street
in consideration of the payment of $85,100.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 869556-HRB with Orange County
Title Company, Santa Aha, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Aha accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June, 1964.
