HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-119RESOLUTION 64-119 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, RICHARD L. THOMPSON and BARBARA JANE THOMPSON have delivered to the City a deed dated July 22, 1964, conveying easements for street purposes at the northeast corner of Cypress Avenue and Camile Street; and WHEREAS, ROY C. PURSCHE has delivered to the City a deed dated August 3, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on the south side of Alton Street, between Main and Maple Streets; and WHEREAS, RALPH GARDINER GARRETSON, JR. has delivered to the City a deed dated August 3, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes on the south side of Alton Street, east of Main Street; and WHEREAS, UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a California corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated July 1, 1964, conveying easements for street purposes on the north side of Seventeenth Street and the west side of Broadway; and WHEREAS, ROY RUSSELL and ROY RODNEY RUSSELL have delivered to the City a deed dated July 2, 1964, conveying easements for street purposes on the south side of Seventeenth Street, 1000 feet east of English Street; and WHEREAS, EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN ST. PETER'S CONGREGATION, a corporation, has delivered to the City a deed dated July 27, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes at the southwest corner of Fifteenth and Parton Streets; and WHEREAS, IRVING SOLOMON, who acquired title as a widower, (as to an undivided one-half interest) and ALBERT SOLOMON and JEAN M. SOLOMON, husband and wife (as to an undivided one-half interest) have delivered to the City a deed dated July 15, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes at the northwest corner of McFadden Avenue and Euclid Street; and WHEREAS, NEIL REITMAN has delivered to the City a deed dated August 7, 1964, conveying an easement for street purposes south of Fifth Street, 660 feet west of Harbor Boulevard; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of August, 1964.
