A WRi'~mN ABDDNENT IN FAVOR OF O~DINANCE ~S-729 TO BE S~M~r~ED TO TEE VOTERS ~ Rt~'~ENDUM PETITION Ws~.~EAS, a special municipal election consolidated with the statewide general election is to be held tu the city of Santa Aha o~ November 3, 1964, at which there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said City the following city measure: Shall Or~luauce NS-729 changing territory thereim described from the R-1 (Simgle Family Residence District) to the R-~ (Sub~rba~ Apartment District) be a~opted to become effective iu the City of Santa Ama? : YES : : : NO : : NOW, T~FORE, BE IT RESOLV~: That this City Co~ucil, beimg the legislative body of the City hereby authorizes Harry 1~. ~a~v~y, James Gilmore, and Nenry H. Schlueter~ members of said body, to file a written argument in favor of aclo~tien of Ordinance NS-729 by a "Yes" vote on ~he proposition set forth in the recitals hereof in accordamce with Article. 4, Chapter 3, Division 4 of the Electicms Code of the State of California and to change said argument until and including the date fixed by the Clerk of the C~uncil after which no arguments for or against said proposition be submzitted to her.
