THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE COUNTY OF OP~ANGE FOR
THE RENDERING BY COUNTY'S DEPARTMENT OF REAL
PROPERTY SERVICES AS MAY BE REQUESTED BY TH~ CITY
AND AS LIMITED BY SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, it has been mutually agreed between the City of
Santa Ana and the County of Orange, both of California, that
acquisition of certain real property by each party thereto is
necessary as a joint effort to provide for the necessary expansion
and development of the Civic Center area of said parties within
the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange maintains a Department of Real
Property Services which is adequately staffed with competent people
and has agreed that said Department will render to the City on its
request one or more of the following services:
(a) Acquisition services
(b) Title and escrow services
(c) Valuation services
(d) Property management services
(e) Right of way engineering services
payment therefor to be made by City as provided for in said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby authorized and ~irected to execute for
and on behalf of said City that certain agreement making said
services available and to deliver the same to W. E. ST. JOHN, County
Clerk of the County of Orange, for consideration and execution by
the Board of Supervisors of said County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 15th day of
September, 1964.
