AS THE TIME FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION
OF WAGE RATES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES AND THAT ANY
WAGE CHANGE MADE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE AS OF
SEPTEMBER 1, 1964
WHEREAS, wage studies and salary surveys have now been
completed, but the detailed conclusions were not available in
time for hearing at either of the Council meetings held in
September and the Council desires a public hearing to be held.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
hereby declares that any change in wage rates made as a result
of said studies and survey shall be effective as of September 1,

to obtain full information and to provide a time for hearing all
persons and organizations wishing to be heard to provide further
information to assist in determining which wages should be
adjusted and in what amount.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That October 5, 1964, at the
hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, Third and Main Streets,
Santa Aha, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place
where any person may appear and be heard on the question of
whether any wage now fixed should be increased or decreased and,
if either, then how much such change should be.
