THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING VARIANCE
ON APPLICATION NO. 2014 FILED B~ THE MEREDITH
COMPANY
WHEREAS, after public hearing on.notice, the Planning
Cor~mission has DENIED a variance on Variance Application No. 2014,
filed by THE MEREDITH COMPANY, and Appeal Application No. 142 was
duly filed by the applicant presenting the matter before the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing, has determined
that all of the statute and ordinance requirements for the granting
of a variance are adequately met and that said Variance should be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council does
hereby overrule the decision of the Planning C~m~ission and does
hereby grant a variance on Variance Application No. 2014, filed by
THE MEREDITH COMPANY to permit the reduction of the rear yard
setback requirements for Lots 52, 53, 55, 59, 60, 6, 15, 18, 36,
39, and 61, of Tract 4000 located south of Santa Clara Avenue,
between Wright Street and Tustin Avenue, Santa Aha, California.
Said Variance is granted sub3ect to the condition that all of the
conditions and requirements of Tentative Tract 4000 be complied
with.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964.
