RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA,
PROPOSING TO INCLUDE CERTAIN
ADDITIONAL TERRITORY IN ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 221ANDAPPROVING
REVISED MAP OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 221.

WHEREAS, in proceedings under the Improvement
Act of 1911 this City Council heretofore adopted its
resolution of intention, Resolution No. 63-171, declaring
its intention to order certain street work and to make the
expense of said work chargeable upon a district described
in "Map of Assessment District No. 221", said map consist-
ing of one sheet and being on file with the Clerk of the
Council and this City Council; and
WHEREAS, after duly giving notice, a hearing
was had on said resolution of intention, following which
Resolution No. 63-211 was adopted ordering the construction
of the work and fixing the boundaries of the assessment
district, as described in said resolution of intention,
such b?undgries being those shown on said "Map of Assess-
ment Dzstrzct No. 221"; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has
recommended the inclusion of certain additional territory
in the assessment district and has presented to this
City Council a revised map designa~ed."RevisedMap of
Assessment District No. 221", conszstzng of one sheet,
showing the boundaries of the district after the inclusion
of such territory; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of Santa Aha, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. This City Council hereby proposes,
after notice and hearing, to order by a four-fifths vote
that said additional territory be included within the assess-
ment district and to fix the boundaries of the assessment
district, as described in said "Revised Map of Assessment
District No. 221". There will be no estimated increase or
decrease in the cost of the work by reason of said proposed
change.
Section 2. Said 'Revised Map of Assessment
District No. 221" is hereby approved. The Clerk of the
Council is hereby directed to endorse her certificate on
the original and a copy of said map, and to file the original
of said map in the office of the Clerk of the Council and
to file said copy with the County Clerk of the County of
Orange.
Section 3. The contractor for said work is
hereby requested to give his written consent to the making
and ordering of the changes described herein.
Section 4. Notice is hereby given that
January 4, 1965 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council
Cbmmhers of said City Council at the City Hall, 217 North
Main Street, in said city are the day, hour and place
fixed when and where any interested person having any
objection to the changes herein proposed to be made may
appear before the City Council and show cause why said
changes should not be ordered.
Section 5. The Clerk of the Council is
further directed to publish this resolution once in
The Register and to mail a copy of such resolution to all
persons owning real property within said additional
territory, whose names appear on the last equalized
assessment roll or as known to the Clerk, all in the
time and manner provided by law.
