PROPERTY CONTRACT AND ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
PASCUAL AND CIPRIANA B. LOPEZ FOR THE ACQUISITION
OF PARCEL NO. 171 FOR CIVIC CENTER PROJECT NO. G.A.
401
WHEREAS, the Department of Real Property Services of the
County of Orange, acting for and on behalf of the City of Santa Ana,
has negotiated and conditionally delivered to the City a Real
Property Contract and deed, executed by PASCUAL LOPEZ and CIPRIANA
B. LOPEZ as grantors, which will convey to the City real property
on the north side of West Sixth Street, between Shelton and Flower
Streets, designated in said Contract as Parcel No. G.A. 401~171,
and which provides for the payment of $15,800.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: %~at the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Real Property Contract for the City; that the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance thereon.
%~e Director of Finance is hereby authorized to issue his
warrant in the amount of $15,800.00 to the grantors or their assigns
and to deliver the s~e when title to said property has been obtained
by the City, on notice from said Department of Real Property Services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting' held on the l~th day of January, 1965.
