HomeMy WebLinkAbout65-053RESOLUTION 65-53 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, ANAHEIM INVESTORS, a partnership, has delivered to the City a deed dated March 31, 1965, conveying an easement for alley purposes south of Edinger Avenue, east of Grand Avenue, and dedicating vehicular access rights to Grand Avenue over the northerly 12.00 feet of the southerly 52.00 feet of Lot 1 in Tract 4471; and WHEREAS, RAYMOND D. MUNOZ has delivered to the City a deed dated March 10, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the north side of McFadden Avenue, 180 feet west of Newhope Street, and granting vehicular access rights to McFadden Avenue; and WHEREAS, EMILY A. MUELLER, as to a life estate; ARNOLD E. MUELLER, who acquired title as ARNOLD E. MULLER, an undivided one- third interest; ADELINE E. LEE, who acquired title as ADELINE E. MUELLER, an undivided one-third interest; and her husband DONALD C. LEE; and OWEN R. MUELLER, an undivided one-third interest in the remainder, and his wife, ANTONETTE MUELLER, have delivered to the City a deed dated March 8, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes at the southwest corner of Grand Avenue and Fairhaven Avenue, and granting vehicular access rights to Fairhaven Avenue and to Glassell (Grand) Avenue; and WHEREAS, SAM T. HAYWARD and ANDREA K. HAYWARD have delivered to the City a deed dated March 18, 1965, conveying an easement for street and highway purposes and an easement for alley purposes on the east side of Mountain View Street, south of First Street; and WHEREAS, ANAHEIM INVESTORS, a partnership, has delivered to the City a deed dated March 25, 1965, granting vehicular access rights to Edinger Avenue between Grand Avenue and Lyon Street; and WHEREAS, KEYSTONE INVESTMENT CO., a general partnership, and THEODORE H. VANDLING have delivered to the City a deed dated March 17, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes and an easement for alley purposes on the south side of Washington Avenue, west of Broadway; and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
