CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, R. CARSON SMITH, DOROTHY CAROTHERS SMITH, and DIANA
JEAN MADORY, formerly Diana Jean Smith, have delivered to the City
a deed dated April 29, 1965, conveying easements for street purposes
on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Bristol Street, and also
granting a temporary construction easement to said property, all in
consideration of the sum of $10,139.00; said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 52885-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the ~scrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deed, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of May, 1965.
