ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
DESIGNATING AN APPROPRIATE NAME FOR SAID TERRITORY
OF "FIRST AND TUSTIN WEST ANNEX NUMBER TWO", AND
GIVING NOTICE OF PROTEST HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission and the Local Agency Formation
Commission have approved the description of territory hereinbelow
contained and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Aha,
California, and the Santa Ana Planning Commission has approved the
annexation of said territory. A request that said territory be
annexed and a consent to said annexation signed by the owners of all
of said territory have been presented to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
declares its intention to annex all of said territory under the
provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939;
hereby finds and declares that the owners of all of said territory
have presented signed statements to the City requesting or consenting
to said annexation; that said territory is uninhabited within the
meaning of Government Code §35303 on the date of the adoption of this
Resolution; that annexation proceedings should be regulated by
Government Code §35310.1; that said territory is contiguous to the
City of Santa Ana, lies in the County of Orange, State of California,
and is described as:
Beginning at an angle pOint in the City Boundary of the City of
Santa Ana as annexed by the First and Tustin West Annex, NS 296,
said angle point being the Northeast corner of the North half of
the West half of Lot E of the Stafford and Tustin Tract, as shown
on a map thereof, recorded in Book 2, pages 618 and 619, Miscel-
laneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, thence South
619.00 feet, more or less, along said City Boundary, said Boundary
being the East line of said North half of the West half of Lot E,
to the Southeast corner of said North half of the West half of
Lot E; thence departing from said City Boundary West 330.00 feet,
more or less, along the South line of said North half of the
West half of Lot E, to a point in the City Boundary of the City
of Santa Aha, as annexed by the East First Street Annex Number 4,
Resolution 64-74, said point being the Southwest corner of said
North half of the West half of Lot E; thence North 619.00 feet,
more or less, along said City Boundary, said Boundary being the
West line of said North half of the West half of Lot E to the
Northeast corner of Lot D of said Stafford and Tustin Tract, said
Northeast corner being the Northeast corner in the City Boundary
of the City of Santa Ana as annexed by said East First Street
Annex Number 4; thence East 330.00 feet, more or less, along the
City Boundary in the City of Santa Ana, as annexed by said NS 296,
said Boundary being the South line of First Street (66 feet wide),
to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
(1) That "FIRST AND TUSTIN WEST ANNEX NUMBER TWO" is hereby
designated as an appropriate name by which said territory shall be
known for the purpose of this annexation;
(2) That notice is hereby given that July 6, 1965, at the
hour of 7:30 P.M. in t'he Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and
Main Streets, Santa Ana, is the time and place fixed at which said
Council will hear protests against this annexation made by any owner
of property within the City of Santa Ana who does not own property

within the territory proposed to be annexed. The Clerk of the
Council shall cause a copy of this Resolution to be published once
in The Register during the month of June, 1965.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of June, 1965.
