RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING THE FILING OF ESTIMATE,
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND DISTRICT
MAP FOR CERTAIN SANITARY SEWER WORK.
(Assessment District No. 227,
Figueroa-Fifth)
WHEREAS, proceedings are to be taken u'nder the
Improvement Act of 1911, for the proposed construction of
certain sanitary sewer work on Figueroa Street, Fifth
Street and other streets in the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has been presented
with a careful estimate of the cost and expenses of said
work, plans designated "Plan No. A.D. 227", consisting of
eleven (11) sheets, 'numbered 1 to 11, inclusive, specifi-
cations designated "Specifications A.D. 227", and a map
designated "Map of Assessment District No. 227", consist-
ing of three (3) sheets, numbered 1 to 3, inclusive, showing
the boundaries of the territory to be benefited by said
work and to be assessed to pay the cost and expenses of
said work,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER as follows:
Section 1. Said estimate, plans and specifi-
cations are hereby approved and are ordered to be filed
with the Director of Public Works.
Section 2. Said map of the assessment district
is hereby approved. The Clerk of the Council is hereby
directed, after adoption by this City Council of the
resolution of intention, to endorse her certificate on the
original and a copy of said map of the assessment district
evidencing the adoption of said resolution of intention,
to file the original of said map in the office of the Clerk
of the Council and to file said copy with the County Clerk
of the County of Orange.
Section 3. The provisions for the payment of
liquidated damages as set forth in said specifications be
and the same hereby are approved and ordered to be specified
in the contract. The amount of said damages and the terms
and conditions under which the same shall be payable are
hereby fixed as provided in said specifications.
