BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED
FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the Clty
and the State of California on March 17, 1961, for expenditure of
funds allocated from the State Highway Fund to cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a project statement
showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made
during the 1965-66 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said project state-
ment and is familiar with the contents thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana that said project statement be and it is hereby
adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax
allocation to cities; that said project statement be and the same
is hereby approved, and the Director of Public Works is directed
to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said project statement
is to be submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of
California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of June, 1965.
