QUITCLAIM DEED TO MALCOLM G. AND ELSIE M. WALLEN
IN CONSIDERATION OF $333.75
WHERF2%S, as a result of the realignment of Edinger Avenue the
City is the owner of certain property located at the northeast corner
of Edinger and Cypress Avenues in the City of Santa Ana, and a
portion of said property has been declared surplus and of no further
use except to the adjacent landowners, MALCOLM G. and ELSIE M. WALLEN,
who have agreed to purchase the same for a cash consideration of
$333.75 through Escrow No. 53571-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a deed quitclaiming to MALCOLM G. WALLEN and ELSIE M. WALLEN the
City's interest in and to the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 18, Block F, Tract 245,
as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 13, page 22,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
North 89° 19' 15" West 154.17 feet to a point on the North line
of said Lot 18, which is 5.79 feet East of the West line of said
Lot 18, measured along said North line, and to a point on a non-
tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 25.00 feet,
a radial to said curve at said point bears North 50° 53' 14" East;
thence Southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 50° 12' 29" an arc distance of 21.91 feet to a tangent
line; thence South 89° 19' 15" East 134.96 feet along a line which
is parallel with and 9.00 feet Southerly, measured at right angles
from said North line, to the East line of Lot 18; thence North
0° 31' 15" East 9.00 feet along the East line of said Lot 18 to
the point of beginning.
RESERVING all access rights to and from Edinger Avenue from the
lands above described.
and deliver the same into said Escrow No. 53571-C.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of July, 1965.
