THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, ROLLAND J. BERRY and SYLVIA D. BERRY have delivered
to the City a deed dated June 30, 1965, conveying an easement for
drainage purposes 150 feet south of Camille Street, 640 feet east of
Newhope Street, in consideration of the payment of $107.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 872193-hrb with First
American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, S. KOEPPLE has delivered to the City a deed dated
July 6, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the north
side of Eighth Street, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of
the payment of $1,170.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow NO. 53610-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, MANUEL C. AVILA and LUCY H. AVILA have delivered
to the City a deed dated July 10, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, 220 feet, more or
less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of
$657.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53511-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, MARIA ELENA R. BANDA has delivered to the City a
deed dated July 3, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
on the south side of Eighth Street, 320 feet, more or less, west of
Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of $665.00 and certain
remedial work to be done by the City. Said transaction is to be
handled through Escrow No. 53509-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, MIKE P. REYES and LUPE R. REYES have delivered to
the City a deed dated July 10, 1965, conveying an easement for street
purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 420 feet, more or less,
west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of $3,578.00.
Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53513-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
W~LEREAS, ARTHUR R. MERCADO and ELLA R. MERCADO have delivered
to the City a deed dated July 10, 1965, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, 480 feet, more or
less, west of Bristol Street, in consideration of the payment of
$3,000.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 53512-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Aha accepts said deeds, and Homer Sterling, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of July, 1965.
