HomeMy WebLinkAbout65-126RESOLUTION 65-126 OVERRUI~NG PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO REPORT OF STRum'±' SUPf~INT~{DENT, APPROVING REPORT AltD 0RD~ING A COPY TSEHEOF FILED WITH THE ~ COLLECTOR Wtta~tEAS, the City Council of the City of Santa ~ did, on the fifth day of April, 1965, pass Resolution 65-56 determining and declaring that weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and which attain such a large gro~h as to bec~ a fire menace when dry amd which are noxious and dangerous, were growing upon the streets, sidewalks and priva%e property in the City of Santa Aha, described in the itemized report submitted therewith; and Wsa~tFAS, om the third day of May, 1965, the City Council further passed Resolution 65-77, ordering the Street Superintendent of said City~o abate such public nuisance; and W~S, the said Street Superintendent has given notice as required by law, in which notice the second day of August, 1965, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., was fixed as the time, and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said City as the place where any amd all persons interested in the said report might be heard; and WHEREAS, at the time set, the Street Superintendent having submitted the said report and all of said protests or objections to said report having been heard; IT IS H~Y RESOLVEDby the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that all of said protests or objections to the said report of the work done, be, and the same are, hereby overruled and the report affirmed and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is, hereby directed to file a copy of said report with the Tax Collector. PASSED ANDADOPED by the City Council of the City of Samta Aaa at its regular meeting held on the secomzl day of August, 1965.
