CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
Wq{EREAS, HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM,
NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROM, HENRY T. SEGERSTROM, YVONNE deC. SEGERSTROM,
HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, JR., and JEANETTE E. SEGERSTROM have delivered
to the City a deed dated September 20, 1965, conveying an easement
for street purposes on the north side of Sunflower Avenue, east of
Bear Street; and
WHEREAS, ALMA ELSA KELLER has delivered to the City a
quitclaim deed dated September 15, 1965, quitclaiming vehicular
access rights to McFadden Avenue, ~ast of Diamond Street; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES B. HURLEY and JOHN C. HURLEY have delivered
to the City a deed dated Septe~aber 23, 1965, conveying vehicular
access~ights to the east side of Fairview Street, north of Edna
Drive; and
WHEREAS, the SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA has delivered to the City a deed dated July 27,
1965, conveying easements for street, highway and public utility
purposes on the south side of Segerstrom Avenue from Bristol to
Flower Streets through Escrow No. 872544-hrb with First American
Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of October, 1965.
