CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, GULF OIL CORPORATION, a Pennsylvania corporation,
has delivered to the City a deed dated October 8, 1965, conveying
an easement for street purposes at the northwest corner of Grand
Avenue and Chestnut Avenue; and
WHEREAS, HAROLD HT~v~IN and ALPHA BETA ACME MARKETS, INC.
have delivered to the City a deed dated September 14, 1965, conveying
easements for street purposes at the northeast corner of Sixteenth
and Ross Streets and at the northwest corner of Sixteenth and Durant
Streets; and
WHEREAS, CRAIG DEVELOPMENT CORP., a corporation, has delivered
to the City a deed dated October 14, 1965, conveying a parcel of real
property at the southeast corner of Twenty-Second Street and Mantle
Street; and
WHEREAS, SOCONY MOBIL OIL CO~IPANY, INC., as lessee under that
certain lease agreement dated December 14, 1964, a memorandum thereof
being recorded July 27, 1965, in book 7607, page 293 of Official
Records, Orange County, California, has delivered to the City a deed
dated October 14, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes at
the southeast corner of Glassell and Fairhaven Avenue; and
WHEREAS, EMILY A MUELLER, ARNOLD E. MUELLER, who acquired title
as Arnold E. Muller, ADELINE E. MUELLER LEE, who acquired title as
Adeline E. Mueller, and OWEN R. MUELLER have delivered to the City a
deed dated October 13, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes
at the southeast corner of Glassell Street and Fairhaven Avenue; and
WHEREAS, SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA has delivered to the City a deed dated October 27, 1965,
conveying easements for street, highway and public utility purposes
on the south side of Segerstrom, Bristol to Flower Streets; this
deed is being re-recorded to correct a typographical error in the
deed recorded October 12, 1965 in Book 7699, page 848 of Official
Records; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being
paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of November, 1965.
