GRANT DEED TO SECURITY FORE CORP. FOR A CASH
CONSIDERATION OF $68,400.
WHEREAS, heretofore the City published notice of sale of
surplus real property, hereirabetow described, at public auction
to be held at a regular meeting of the City Council on November 1,
1965, and at said time and place said property was sold to
SECURITY FORE CORP., a California corporation, the only bidder for
the same, in consideration of the sum of $68,400.00, $9,000.00 paid
on acceptance of said bid and the balance of the purchase price to
be paid through escrow; and
WHEREAS, Escrow No. 870577-hrb has now been opened with
First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
authorized to sign the Escrow instructions, and the Mayor and the
Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a deed granting to SECURITY FORE CORP., a California corporation,
that real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
of California, described as:
That portion of Lot 9 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 30, Page 14, of Deeds, records of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of the land described in
a Deed to the City of Santa Ana, recorded April 8, 1964, in
Book 6995, Page 971, of Official Records; thence North 88° 45' 18"
East along the Easterly prolongation of the Southerly line of
said land of the City of Santa Ana, a distance of 798.00 feet to
the true point of beginning; thence North 1° 14' 42" West 130.08
feet to the Northerly line of said Lot 9; thence North 88° 45' 18"
East along said Northerly line, 653.50 feet to the Westerly line
of the land described in a deed to Orange County Flood Control
District, recorded October 10, 1960, in Book 5453, Page 387, of
Official Records; thence South 1° 03' 20" East along said Westerly
line, 261.83 feet; thence South 88° 45' 18" West 652.66 feet;
thence North 1° 14' 42" West 131.75 feet to the true point of
beginning.
Subject to taxes for fiscal year 1965-1966.
Also subject to covenants, conditions, reservations, restrictions,
easements and rights of way of record.
and place the same in the above-referenced escrow for delivery to
said grantee.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aris at its regular meeting held on the 6~ day of December, 1965.
