PLANNING COMMISSION AND DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. 208 FILED BY GEORGE B.
DUCOT
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
CO~mission granted a Conditional Use Permit on Application No. 208
filed by GEORGE B. DUCOT for permission to construct a rest home
in an R-1 District at 1605 North English Street, Santa Ana, California;
and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 169 was duly filed by JOHN C.
MacFARLAND appealing the decision of the Planning Commission to grant
said Conditional Use Permit and requesting a hearing before the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing on public notice, has
determined that said Conditional Use Permit does not meet the statute
or ordinance requirements for granting of a conditional use permit;
that the decision of the Planning Commission should be overruled;
and that said Conditional Use Permit should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning
Co~u~ission and does hereby deny Conditional Use Permit on Application
No. 208.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of December, 1965.
