STREET TO EUCLID STREET
WHEREAS, there exists a certain public street in the City of
Santa Aha known as Verano Street, and the Orange County Committee
for Street Name study has recommended that the name of said street
be changed to Euclid Street in order to provide uniformity of street
names within Orange County; and
~5{EREAS~ the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha,
after study, has reccar~ended that the street name not be changed; and
WHEREAS, after further study and consideration of all of the
relevant and material facts, the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha has determined that the street name should be changed in accordance
with the rec~m,endation of the Orange County Cc~amittee for Street Name
Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
changes the name of that certain street within the City of Santa Aha
now known as Verano Street to the name of Euclid Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Director of Public Works is
instructed to provide street name signs on said street as it exists
in the City of Santa Aha to show the name now and heretofore used for
said street and the new name herein designated for said street, and
that the said former and new street name combination shall be maintained
on said street for a period of at least six months after the adoption
of this Resolution.

regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962.
