HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-025RESOLUTION NO. 62-25 DECLARING WITHDRAWAL OF TERRITORY FROM TUSTIN LIGHTING DISTRICT WHEREAS, heretofore, territory hereinbelow described was annexed to the City of Santa Ana, California, by Ordinance No. NS-297, adopted December 16, 1957, under the name of "EAST OF PRENTICE PARK ANNEX", so that now all of the real property hereinbelow described is within the limits of the City of Santa Ana, but still remains in the Tustin Lighting District and should be removed therefrom; and WHEREAS, on January 15, 1962, the Orange County Boundary Commission approved the description hereinbelow set out as reasonably definite and certain for the purpose of changing the boundary lines of said district. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all that territory within the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1 in Tract 24 as shown on a map recorded in Book 9, Page 23, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; and running thence North 89© 07' 30" East along the North line of said Lot 1 a distance of 308.27 feet to a point in said North line 20.73 feet South 89° 07' 30" West from the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South 47° 16' 59" West 69.57 feet; thence South 8° 43' 22" East 69.15 feet; thence South 30© 01' 22" East 121.29 feet to a point on the East line of said Lot 1, 220.73 feet South 00° 14' 50" East from the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South 00© 14' 50" East along said East line of said Lot 1, and along the East line of Lot 3 in said Tract No. 24 a distance of 1020.17 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence South 89© 05' 30" West along the South line of said Lot 3 a distance of 329 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 3; thence North 00° 14' 50" West along the West line of Lots 3 and 1 in said Tract No. 24, a distance of 1241.16 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1 and to the point of beginning, be, and the same is hereby withdrawn from the Tustin Lighting District, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares that said territory is so withdrawn from said District. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962.
