HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-026RESOLUTION NO. 62-26 DECLARING WITHDRAWAL OF TERRITORY FROM 6~ANGE COUNTY STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 6 WHEREAS, heretofore, territory herein described was annexed to the City of Santa Aha, California, by Ordinance No. NS-468, adopted October 3, 1960, under the name of "TUSTIN AND SEVENTEENTH N. E. ANNEX", so that now all of the real property hereinbelow described is within the limits of the City of Santa Ana, but still remains in Orange County Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 6 and should be removed therefrom; and WHEREAS, on January 2, 1962, the Orange County Boundaries Commission approved the description hereinbelow set out as reasonably definite and certain for the purpose of changing the boundary lines of said District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That all that territory within the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 in Tract No. 2493, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 113, Pages 35 and 36, Miscellaneous M~ps, Records of Orange County, California and running thence South 00© 22' 22" East along the East line and the Southerly prolongation of the East line of said Lot 1 and the East line of Lots 2 and 7 of said Tract No. 2493, a distance of 662.74 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 7; thence South 89°'56' 45" West along the South line of said Tract No. 2493, a distance of 339.38 feet to the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 2493; thence North 24° 01' 10" West along the West line of said Tract No. 2493, a distance of 218.10 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 1,960.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 14° 08' 49" an arc distance of 483.94 feet to the Northwest corner of said Tract No. 2493; thence North 89° 47' 19" East along the North line of said Tract No. 2493, a distance of 564.55 feet to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby withdrawn frc~ the Orange County Street Lighting Maintenance District NO. 6, and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares that said territory is so withdrawn from said District. -1- PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of February, 1962.
