DEED FROM RAYMOND A. BRANDT IN CONSIDERATION OF THE
PAYMENT OF $47,500.00, OF WHICH SUM $1,500 IS IN
CONSIDERATION FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND THE SUM OF
$46,000.00 FOR REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, RAYMOND A. BRANDT, M. D., Public Administrator
with Will Annexed De Bonis Non, of the Estate of Emory H. Prince,
also known as E. H. Prince, Deceased, has presented to the City a
Deed of Administrator, dated January 8, 1962, conveying to the City
a parcel of real property situated in the Civic Center area of the
City of Santa Aha and described as follows:
Lot Five (5) and the East one-half (E 1/2) of Lot
Four (4) of "Visel's Addition", as per map there-
of recorded in Book 3, Page 17, of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
in consideration of the payment of $47,500.00, of which the sum of
$1,500.00 is in consideration for certain personal property situated
in a building upon said parcel of real property and detailed by a
bill of sale dated February 8, 1962, executed by said RAYMOND A.
BRANDT, M. D., Public Administrator; and the sum of $46,000.00 is
the consideration for the parcel of real property hereinabove
described; and
WHEREAS, said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 321692-ET with Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Aha,
California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regUlar meeting held on the 19th day of February, 1962.
