THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, FRANK MONROY and ELIZABETH MONROY have presented to
the City a deed dated February 21, 1962, conveying, for park purposes,
a parcel of real property on the South side of Fruit Street, East of
Mabury Street, in consideration of the payment of $99,405.00. Said
real property is described as:
Lot 4 of Tract No. 678, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 32, Pages 10 and 11, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 162 feet of the North
127 feet thereof.
Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 47316-C with
Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of March, 1962.
