HARRISON and KATHRYN L. HARRISON IN CONSIDERATION OF
THE PAYMENT OF $2,000.00 AND A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO SAID J. WAYNE HARRISON and
KATHRYN L. HARRISON FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AUTHORI-
ZING EXECUTION OF SAID QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, J. WAYNE HARRISON, also known as J. W. HARRISON, and
KATHRYN L. HARRISON have presented to the City. a deed dated February 16,
1962, conveying an easement for street purposes on the South side of / ~ ~
Warner Avenue, East of Main Street, in consideration of the payment of ~
$2,000.00 and a quitclaim deed from the C'ity quitclaiming to them the
City's interest in a certain parcel of real property adjoining his
property; and
WHEREAS, said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 47387,C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined to accept said deed and to
execute a quitclaim deed for said parcel of real property to J. WAYNE
HARRISON, also known as J. W. HARRISON, and ~ATHRYN L. HARRISON.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed dated February 16, 1962, and Carl J. Thornton, the
City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of
Acceptance on said deed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the
Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quitclaiming
to J. WAYNE HARRISON, also known as J. W. HARRISON, and KATHRYN L.
HARRISON any right, title or interest that the City may have in said
parcel of real property described as follows:
Beginning at a point 155 feet East and 161.6 feet North of
the Southwest Corner of Block "A" of South Santa Aha, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 5, Page 43 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence East
525 feet to the East line of said Block "A"; thence South
16.6 feet; thence West 400 feet; thence South 8 feet; thence
West 45 feet; thence North 24.6 feet to the point of
beginning. Except the East 455 feet,

and to deliver the same to said J. WAYNE HARRISON, also known as
J. W. HARRISON, and KATHRYlg L. HARRISON.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of March , 1962.
