OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SITUATED IN THE CIVIC
CENTER AREA OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ESTABLISHING THEREON PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND OTHER
GOVERNMENTAL STRUCTURES AND DECLARING THE PUBLIC
NECESSITY THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has determined the necessity
for the construction of new planned governmental buildings and
facilities, and the City Council has declared the area delimited as
a Civic Center for the location of such public buildings to include
the property hereinbelow described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana does hereby find and determine that the public
interest and necessity require that the City of Santa Ana have, take
and acquire fee title in and to those certain parcels of real property
in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
described as:
PARCEL 1:
Lot 3 in Block "B" of Chilton Tract Addition to Santa
Ana, as per map recorded in Book 34, Page 93 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
PARCEL 2:
Lot 2 in Block "B" of Chilton Tract Addition to Santa
Ana, as per map recorded in Book 34, Page 93 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
PARCEL 3:
Lot 1 in Block "B" of Chilton Tract Addition to Santa
Ana, as per map recorded in Book 34, Page 93 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
PARCEL 4:
Lot 7 of Visels Addition, as per map thereof recorded
in Book 3, Page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
PARCEL 5:
Lot 4 in Block "A", Chilton Tract Addition to Santa Ana,
in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 34, Page 93
of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said City Council does hereby
find and determine that the taking herein authorized is necessary for
the purpose of locating and constructing thereon public buildings and
grounds for the use of the City of Santa kna, and that it is necessary
to acquire fee title in and to said property.
The said City Council hereby declares that the location of said
public buildings and grounds is planned and located in a manner which
will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least
private injury.
The City of Santa Aha is authOrized and empowered to acquire in
the name of the City a fee simple estate for the location of public
buildings and grounds by the Code of Civil Procedure and the Constitu-
tion of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Attorney is hereby ordered
to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa Ana in the Superior
Court of the State of California in and for the County of Orange to
condemn the property herein described and to do all things necessary
to prosecute said action to final determination.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the said action for condemnation
of said property so to be acquired shall be taken in accordance with
Section 14, Article I of the Constitution of the State of California.
