DECLARING THE SAME TO BE SURPLUS AND TO BE PERSONAL
PROPERTY
WHEREAS, heretofore, the City acquired certain real property
improved with residence structures, which structures must be removed
from said property, and said residence structures were, on April 16,
1962, duly declared by the City Council to be surplus.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: ~hat the buildings, located,
known and numbered as hereinbelow set out, are hereby declared to be
surplus property of the City to be treated and disposed of as personal
property, and Mr. C. S. Markee is hereby designated as the person to
conduct the sale of said buildings. Said buildings may be sold on or
after the 7th day of May, 1962, and notice of intent to sell the same
shall be given as required by Santa Aha Municipal Code Section 2611.
Said buildings are to be shown in place, and Mr. C. S. Markee is
authorized to receive written bids to be opened at an hour stated in
said notice, or to conduct a verbal auction at a time and place fixed
by him. Ail sales shall be for cash, and the purchase price shall be
paid immediately upon the declaration of the highest bid. Mr. C. S.
Markee is hereby authorized to contract for demolition of any of said
buildings for which no offer is made.
The buildings herein referred to are located on real property
known and numbered as next hereinbelow set out:

708 West Eighth Street
710 West Eighth Street
714 West Eighth Street

606 North Patton Street
Church at the Northeast corner of
Sixth and Garnsey Streets
