BESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS
TO REPORT OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT, APPROVING
REPORT AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF FIT.ED WITH
TEE TAX COLLECTOR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIIT COUNCIL OF TKE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ WHEREAS,
the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did~ on the 2nd day of April~ 1962~
pass Resolution No. 62-76~ determining and declaring that weeds which bear
seeds of a win~oUf or downy nature and which attain such a large growth as to
become a fire menace when dry aud which are noxious and daugerous~were
growing upon the streets~ sidewalks and private property in the City of
Santa Ana~ described in the itemized report submitted~herewith;
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of May, 1962~ the City Council further passed
Resolution No. 62-84, ordering the Street Superintendent of said City to abate
such public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, the said Street Superintendent has given notice as required
by law~ in which notice the 6th day of August, 1962~ at the hour of 7:30 o'clock
P.M.~ was fixed as the time~ and the Council Chamber of the City Hall of said
City as the place where any and all persons interested in the said report
might be heard; and
W/{EREAS, at the time set, the Street Superintendent having sub.witted
the said report and all of said protests or objections to said report having'
been heard;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
that all of said protests or objections to the said report of the work done~
be, and the same are~ hereby overruled and the report affirmed and that the
Street Superintendent be~ and he is, hereby directed to file a copy of said
report with the Tax Collector.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held once 6th day of August~ 1962.
