NO. 58-281
WH~{EA~; on November 3; 1958; the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 58-281 revising and establishing,the Basic
Compensation Plan for employees of the City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS; it is now desired to re~ssign schedule n~mbers
to class titles and to add certain classes to the list of titles
to Section 3; of said Resolution No~ 58-281;
NOW; TH~EFORE; BE IT RF~OLVED~ That Section 3 of
Resolution No. 58-281 is hereby amended to re~d as follows:

*Any Patrolman assigned to duty on a two-wheeled
motorcycle shall receive e~tra compensation for any month during
which the m~Jor portion of his duty involves the riding of ~uch
motorcycles and any' Patrolm~-n assigned to duty as an Investigator
sba1 1 receive extra compensation for any month in which the major
portion of b-ts duty has been so assigned. The extra compensation
in each case shall bes in addition to the regula~ scheduled pays
the s~ of ' thirty . dollars $30 .00) per month~
**Every Police Officer doing regular pea~e officer work
and every Fire Department e~ployee regularly engaged in on-the-scene
fire suppression (class titles for such classifications here-in-above
indicated by a double asterisk following such class titles) shall
receive in addition to the regular scheduled and step wage designated
for said individual; an additional sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per
month for each month during which said individual actually performs
service for the City. For the purpose of this additional payment
a regular vacation period shall be considered service. In event of
absence from duty for any other reason than vacation said additional
payment shall be prorated upon the basis of the number of days
actually worked.
BE IT FURTH~ RF~OLVED: That all other Res~lutions ~
amending Section Ss of Resolution No. 58-281 are declared to be
supersededs rescinded and repealed by this Resolution.
BE IT FURTH~ RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take
effect as of the 1st day o£ 0c.tober,~962
