SPANDRELS AT THE NORTHEAST CORNERS OF MAPLE AND
ORANGE INTERSECTIONS WITH EDINGER AVENUE AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEEDS FOR TWO-
FOOT STRIPS TO PROPERTY OWNERS WITHOUT CASH
CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, through Escrow No. 48539-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, agreement has been reached for an exchange of
properties, without cash consideration, be%ween the City and IRA W.
and HELEN M. SHIVES; and
WHEREAS, through Escrow No. 48499-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, agreement has been reached for an exchange of
properties, without cash consideration, between the City and GARY S.
and VONETTE V. WOODS and J.R. and ARVA R. GIBSON;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed from IRA W. SHIVES and HELEN M. SHIVES., dated
November 1, 1962, granting an easement for street purposes over a
spandrel shaped parcel at the Northeast corner of Maple Street and
Edinger Avenue and directs the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to
execute a quitclaim deed to said grantors quitclaiming the City of
Santa Ana's interest in the Southerly two feet of grantors property
at said intersection, all as set out in Escrow No. 48539-C.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deed from GARY S. WOODS , VONETTE V. WOODS and J. R. GIBSON
and~ARVA R. GIBSON dated November 2, 1962, granting an easement for
street purposes over a spandrel shaped parcel at the Northeast corner
of Orange and Edinger Avenues and directs the Mayor and the Clerk of
the Council to execute a quitclaim deed to said grantors quitclaiming
the City of Santa Arians interest in the Southerly two feet of grantors
property at said intersection, all as set out in Escrow No. 48499-C.
