CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, FIRST WESTERN BANK AND~ST ~OMPA~NY, a California
banking corporation, successor to First National Bank in Santa Ana,
has presented to the City a deed dated November 27, 1962, conveying
a parcel of real property at the Southwest corner of Fifth and
Spurgeon Streets in consideration of the payment of $45,000.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 864436-HRB with
Orange County Title Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS,~~IERRO and MERCEr_DES F~ERRO.h{Lve presented
to the City a deed dated November 26, 1962, conveying a parcel of / ~$~
real property on the North side of Sixth Street, West of Flower Street,
in consideration of the payment of $12,500.00. Said transaction is
to be handled through Escrow No. 46827-C with Security Title Insurance
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, ~_~~as presented to the City a deed
dated November 20, 1962, conveying a parcel of real property on the
North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Garnsey Street, in consideration
of the payment of $10,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 48620-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, JAMES W. ALDERSON and_~OI~MAE, ALDERS0~ have presented
to the City a deed dated November 23, 1962, conveying an easement for/72~
street purposes on the West side of Sycamore Street, North of Edinger
Avenue, in consideration of the payment of $35.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 48619-C with Security Title
Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and

WHEREAS, ZOID B..MARRS and JOSEPHINE T. MARRS have presented
tO the City a deed dated November 28, 1962, conveying a parcel of
real property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Towner
Street, in consideration of the payment of $16,750.00. Said trans-
action is to be handled through Escrow NO. 3650-MK with United Title
Guaranty Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, OLIVER G. ANDERSON and GLADYS PEARL ANDERSON have
presented to the City a deed dated November 17, 1962, conveying
parcel of real property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, East of
Towner Street, in consideration of the payment of $16,000.00. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 3554-MK with United
Title Guaranty Company, Santa Aha, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ann
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December, 1962.
