HomeMy WebLinkAbout62-240RESOLUTION NO. 62-240 DECLARING THAT MAJORITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY UNDER THE NAME OF "NEWPORT AND DYER S. E. ANNEX", RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 62-122 WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, held August 6, 1962, the hearing on protests against the annexation initiated by Resolution No. 62-122, was regularly continued and recontinued and hearing thereon duly held on written notices mailed to persons owning land within the territory proposed to be annexed, on the publication of Resolution No. 62-122, which gave notice of the time and place of said hearing, and on said continuances. NOW, THEREFORE, AFTER DUE HEARING, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds and declares that a majority protest against said annexation, under the name of "NEWPORT AND DYER S. E. ANNEX", has not been made at any of said hearings by the owners of privately owned property or public owners of publicly owned property. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of December, 1962.
