ADMINISTRATOR AND GRANTING A VARIANCE ON
VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 1715 FILED BY BILLY
W. ROBINSON, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Zoning Adminis-
trator denied a variance on Variance Application No.1715, filed by
BILLY W. ROBINSON to permit less than the required side yard set
back for a garage addition on R1 property and located at 1515 North
King Street, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, Appeal Application 79 was duly filed by said applicant
requesting a hearing on said Variance Application before the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing Ch notice, has
determined that the Zoning Administrator should be overruled and that
said variance should be granted subject to certain conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Ana does hereby grant a variance on Variance Application
No. 1715 to permit less than the required side yard set back for a
garage addition on that property known and numbered as 1515 North King
Street in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
in an R1 District. Said Variance is granted subject to conditions.
The following condition is to be complied with prior to the issuance
of a building permit:
That an easement be provided for King Street for a width of
thirty feet, center line to property line, for street purposes.
NOTE: Dedication shall be initiated by owner, through the
Department of Public Works, at least two weeks prior to
issuance of a building permit or requested utility release
to avoid delay.
The following conditions are to be complied with prior to the issuance
of a utility release:
That a six-foot solid block wall be constructed along the
applicant's South property line where said property line abuts
the existing or proposed single family residence, garage or
patio area.
3. That development be otherwise according to plot plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of February, 1963.
