CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, EATHRYN A. BAKER has presented to the City a deed
dated February 19, 1963, conveying a parcel of real property on the
North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Birch Street, in consideration
of the payment of $14,750.00. Said transaction is to be handled
through Escrow No. 48841-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, FRED C. BLAHA has presented to the City a deed dated
February 26, 1963, conveying a parcel of real property on the North-
west corner of Birch Street and Edinger Avenue in consideration of
the payment of $16,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Esc~$w No. 49155-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, JAMES D. DICKERSON and VIRGINIA M. DICKERSON have
presented to the City a deed dated January 16, 1963, conveying a parcel
of real property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Shelton
Street, in consideration of the payment of $15,000.00. Said transaction
is to be handled through Escrow No. 3956-MKwith United Title Guarantee
Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, MYGLO CORPORATION, a corporation; ROBERT H. GERDES and
N. LOYALL McLAREN, as Trustees of the Trust established by Subdivision
B of Article Fifth of the Will of James Irvine, deceased; ROBERT H.
GERDES and N. LOYALL McLAREN, as Trustees of the Trust established by
Subdi~ision D of Article Fifth of the Will of James Irvine, deceased,
and ROBERT H. GERDES and N. LOYALL McLAREN, as Trustees of the Trust
established by Subdivision C of Article Fifth of the Will of James
Irvine, deceased, have presented to the City a deed dated December 3,
1962, conveying a parcel of real property on the South Side of Fifth
Street, between Bush and Spurgeon Streets, in consideration of the
payment of $30,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 864437-hrb with Orange County Title Company, Santa Ana,
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1963.
