AN UNNAMED ALLEY RUNNING BETWEEN MAIN AND BUSH
STREETS, NORTH OF TENTH STREET, NOT RESERVING
A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, AND RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 63-21
WHEREAS, on December 17, 1962, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 62-237 declaring its intention to vacate the unnamed
alley herein described and reserving therein a public utility
easement; and
WHEREAS, on January 21, 1963, a public hearing was duly held
on the question of said vacation on posted notices and on notice
contained in the publication of said Resolution No. 62-237.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council~ hereby
finds that the unnamed alley herein described is unnecessary for
present or prospective street purposes and hereby makes its order
vacating and abandoning for street purposes that certain unnamed
alley in the City of Santa Ana, California, described as:
~n unnamed alley between Tenth and Eleventh Streets which
is 12 feet in width and runs from Bush Street Westerly to
a line parallel with and 45 feet East of the surveyed
center line of Main Street measured at right angles.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That before the surface areas of
said alley may be used by abutting land owners, the existing alley
drive approach on Main Street must be removed and standard curb,
gutter and sidewalk installed across the entrance, or an agreement
for the completion of said work entered into with said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That no reservation for public
utility easement is necessary and none therefore is reserved; that
Resolution No. 63-21 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1963.
