THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, PETERIS STAMERS and BERTA STAMERS have presented
to the City a deed dated April 18, 1963, conveying a parcel of real
property located at Sixth and Flower Streets for municipal bowl site
purposes in consideration of the payment of $11,000.00. Said trans-
action is to be handled through Escrow No. 49493-C with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, HERBERT C. YOUNGER and SHIRLEY MILDRED YOUNGER have
presented to the City a deed dated April 1, 1963, conveying a parcel
of real property on Fairview Street, South of Seventeenth Street,
and quitclaim deeds dated April 1st, 1963, have been presented to the
City by GEORGIE WILLIE BROWN and NATHELEE BROWN, ANTHONY FAMA and
NATALIA FAMA, and CHARLES SCROFANI and VIOLA M. SCROFANI, quitclaiming
their interests in said real property on the East side of Fairv~ew
Street, South of Seventeenth Street; all of said deeds are in
consideration of the payment of the sum of $7,331.20 plus interest
thereon at the rate of seven (7~) percent per annum from June 16,
1961, to close of escrow. Said transaction is to be handled through
Escrow No. 48711-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTEDby the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1963.
