CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, PEDRO PENAFLOR and CONSUELO PENAFLOR have presented
to the City a deed dated July 3, 1963, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the East sade of English Street, North of Eighth
Street; and
WHEREAS, ULRICH L. MONROE and THELMA M. MONROE have presented
to the City a deed dated June 26, 1963, conveying an easement for
street purposes at the Southeast corner of Euclid and Fifth Streets;
and
WHEREAS, MYRLE JOY HOLT has presented to the City a deed
dated July 8, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the East side of Fairview Street, North of Edna Drive, in consider-
ation of work to be done at said location by the City. Said
transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 49942-K with Security
Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
WHEREAS, RAY R. SHELLENBARGER and LOTUS E. SHELLENBARGER have
presented to the City a deed dated June 29, 1963, conveying an
easement for drainage purposes North of Watkins Way, West of Newhope
Street, in consideration of work to be done at said location by
the City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 49930-K with Security '£itle Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, MARILYN FUNK and BARBARA JEAN GEORGE have presented
to the City a deed dated July 3, 1963, conveying an easement for
drainage purposes between Watkins Way and Posey Street, West of
Newhope Street, in consideration of work to be done at said location
by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
No. 49929-K with Security itle Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
California; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1963.
