This being the date set for hearing of protests and no protests having
been received, on motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and
carried, the Ordinance to amend"Santa Aha Municipal Code" by amending
Sections 9116 and 9116.1 of Chapter 1 of Article IX regulating the
frequency of applications for and notice given on public hearings
before the Planning Commission, was tabled until later in the meeting.

It was moved by Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, that
the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha be requested to make
a thorough survey and report to the City Council as to the advantages,
disadvantages and problems involved in the passage of amendments to
our Zoning and other related Ordinances which would require the pro-
vision of streets of 'standard width with'in and on the boundaries of
all subdivisions, such streets to be of the correct width to conform
to the general street plan of the City and to be shown upon the
Tentative Map of the subdivision prior to its consideration by either
the Planning Commission or the City Council.

Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending that
a new set-back line be established in connection With the proposed'
westerly extension of West Tenth Street as shown on the Revised
Tentative Map of Tract No. 1598. On motion of Trustee Hunter,
seconded by McBride and carried, the recommendation of the Planning
Commission was approved and City Attorney instructed to prepare
Resolution setting date of hearing to establish set-back line.

Communication was read from Attorney Jack J. Rime1 addressed to the
City Judge reference offer of David M. Johnson, Paul Johnson and
R.N.Johnson to relieve the City from the obligations of its trash and
garbage collection contract and to cancel and terminate all of such
contracts upon the payment to the Johnsons of the total sum of
$12,000.00. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and
carried, the communication was referred to the Administrator and
City Engineer for report as to the amount of monies due the Johnsons
as per their contract and length of time of operation.

On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the
demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and Clerk
authorized to issue warrants covering demands.

On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Jerome,
seconded by Hunter and carried, the bid of Sully-Miller Contracting
Company, in ~he sum of $5396.80 was accepted for the construction of
curbs and parking areas in Prentice Park, and all other bids rejected.
On recommendation of the committee and on motion of T~ustee Jerome,
seconded by McBride and carried, Building T-8 in the sum of $325.00
and Building T-15 in the sum of $425.00 were awarded to Van Dien-'
Young Company; Building T-30 in the sum of $200.00 was awarded to
E.R.Bringle, subject to fulfilling of reGuirements as set out in
notice inviting sealed proposals and Administrator instructed to sell
on the open market Buildings T-26 and T-29 on which no bids were
received.
