QUITCLAIM DEEDS BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain property located
on Standard Avenue, South of Edinger Avenue, dedicated to the City
of Santa Aha vehicular access rights to Standard Avenue; the present
owners have now requested driveway locations across said area and
the City has determined to grant the same; and
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of certain property located
on the North side of Edinger Avenue, between Birch and Ross Streets,
in the City of Santa Ana, and it has now been determined that a
portion of said property is of no use to the City and that it should
be quitclaimed to LAURENCE C. ROLD and RACHEL R. ROLD who have
expressed their desire to purchase the same for $3,016.00 through
Escrow No. 50030-K with Security Title Insurance Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a
quitclaim deed quitclaiming IN SEVERALTY TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE
UNDERLYING FEE, AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTEREST MAY APPEAR OF RECORD,
vehicular access rights to Standard Avenue, South of Edinger Avenue,
and deliver the same to the Clerk ofthe Council;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the
Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim
deed quitclaiming to LAURENCE C. ROLD and RACHEL R. ROLD the City's
interest in that certain real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Lot 11 of Tract NO. 1170, in the City of Santa Aha, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 38, Page 36,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING the southerly 50 feet thereof,
and deliver the same to said owners.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1963.
