CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, TIDE WATER P~EALTY COMPANY, a Delaware corporation,
has presented to the City a deed dated August 13, 1963, conveying
an easement for street purposes on the South sade of Seventeenth
Street, East side of Bush Street; and
WHEREAS, WAN INVESTMENT CO., a co-partnership, and SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, a corporation, have presented
to the City a deed dated July 31, 1963, conveying an easement and
right of way for street and public utility purposes on the South side
of Silver Drive, West of Euclid Street; and
WHEREAS, BENITA A. GALLEGOS has presented to the City a deed
dated August 23, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the East side of Main Street, South of Central Avenue; and
WHEREAS, SEGERSTROM CENTER, a California corporation, has
presented to the City a deed dated August 5, 1963, conveying an ease-
ment for street purposes at the Northwest corner of Eleventh and
Spurgeon Streets; and
WHEREAS, ALFRED L. PRIESS and SOPHIE PRIESS have presented to
the City a deed dated August 7, 1963, conveying an easement for
water main and underground water vault structures at the Northeast
corner of Tustin and Santa Clara Avenues; and
WHEREAS, THRIFTIMART, INC. has presented to the City a deed
dated August 26, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on
the West side of Bristol Street, South of Edinger Avenue; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
being paid to said grantors by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of September, 1963.
