CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
WHEREAS, E. REESE ALLISON and HELEN E. PEDDICORD have presented
to the City a deed dated October 14, 1963, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the East side of Grand Avenue, North of Seventeenth
Street; and
WHEREAS, CHARLES E. PEDDICORD and HELEN E. PEDDICORDhave
presented to the City a deed dated October 14, 1963, conveying an
easement for street purposes on the East side of Grand Avenue, North
of Seventeenth Street; and
WHEREAS, RICHARD C. BOUCHER and VIOLET BOUCHER have presented
to the City a deed dated October 23, 1963, quitclaiming to the City
property located on the South side of Trask Avenue, East of Fairview
Street; and
WHEREAS, GEORGE H. ROSE and MARGARET ROSE have presented to
the City a deed dated September 27, 1963, conveying an easement for
drainage purposes eouth~of First Street, East of Sullivan Street; and
WHEREAS, SALVADOR MERAZ and EMILENE MERAZ have presented to
the City a deed dated October 18, 1963, conveying an easement for
street purposes on the North side of Trask Avenue, West of the Santa
Ana River Channel; and
WHERF2%S, SECURITY FORE CORPORATION, a corporation, has
presented to the City a deed dated July 8, 1963, conveying property
for drainage purposes at St. Gertrude Place, East of Forest Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, MARGARET FETTERS has presented to the City a deed
dated September 30, 1963, conveying easements for street purposes
on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Gordon Place; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM A. BUMSTEAD has presented to the City a deed
dated September 30, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes
on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Gordon Place; and
WHEREAS, JAMES C. DODSON, JR., BETTYANN DODSON, JAMES A.
STEPHENS, ALICE F. STEPHENS, ROBERT B. HOLLAND and FBANKLENA E.
HOLLAND have presented to the City a deed dated December 26, 1962,
conveying easements for street purposes on the South side of Sherwood
Avenue, East of Maple Street, and on the North half of an unnamed
street South of Sherwood Avenue, East of Maple Street; and
WHEREAS, JAMES C. DODSON, JR., BETTYANN DODSON, JAMES A.
STEPHENS, ALICE F. STEPHENS, and INA STEPHENS have presented to the
City a deed dated December 26, 1962, conveying easements for street
purposes on the South side of Sherwood Avenue, West of Maple Street,
and the North half of an unnamed street South of Sherwood Avenue,
between Maple and Main Streets; and
WHEREAS, JAMES C. DODSON, JR., BETTYANN DODSON, JAMES A.
STEPHENS, ALICE F. STEPHENS and I~IAL. STEPHENS have presented to the
City a deed dated December 26, 1962, conveying an easement for street
purposes at the Northwest corner of Maple Street and an unnamed street
South of Sherwood Avenue, East of Main Street; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM K. STOCK and EDNA K. STOCK have presented to
the City a deed dated January 11, 1963, conveying an easement for
street purposes at the Southwest corner of Maple and Alton Streets;
and
WHEREAS, BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS
ASSOCIATION, a national banking association, as Trustee under the
Will of JOHN KNOX, deceased, has presented to the City a deed dated
January 11, 1963, conveying real property at the Southeast corner
of Sherwood Avenue and Maple Street; and
WHEREAS, BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS
ASSOCIATION, a national banking association, has presented to the
City a deed dated January ll, 1963, conveying property for Maple
Street, South of Alton Street, East of Main Street; and
WHEREAS, BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS
ASSOCIATION, a National Banking Association, has presented to the
city a deed dated October 29, 1963, conveying real property for
Sherwood Avenue, East of Main Street; and
WHEREAS, BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS
ASSOCIATION, a National Banking Association, has presented to the
City a deed dated October 29, 1963, conveying a strip of land for
street purposes South of Sherwood Avenue, East of Main Street; and
WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration
being paid to said grantors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
acceptssaid deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of November, 1963.
