THE CITY COUNCIL' OF SANTA AIqA TO CO~a~EbIC~IE~£ OF
PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE AI~EJfATION ACT OF 1913
WHEREAS, a written request has been filed with the City of
Santa Ana asking that said City consent to the initiation of pro-
ceedings for annexation of inhabited territory lying Easterly of
the Northwesterly boundary of said city; and
WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area
have been presented to the Planning Commission of the City of Santa
Ana for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has reported
to this City Council and has recommended that said annexation be con-
sented to and approved by this City Council.
~O~~, THEREFOR~E, BE iT RESOLVED: ~at the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings
for the annexation of territory to be known as "Newport and Warren
N. W. Annex", in accordance with the map and description heretofore
presented to the Santa Ana Planning Commission and to this City
Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its adjourned special meeting held on the 10th day of January, 1961.
