HomeMy WebLinkAbout61-041RESOLUTION NO. 61-hl ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION WH m AS, MAGGIANO and have presented to the City a deed dated February 13, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Fairview Street, in consideration of the payment of $308.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 45656-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and WHEREAS, the S . _ Q~Ai~Y__, partnership, has presented to the City two deeds dated February 6, 1961, conveying easements for street purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, East of Newhope Street, in consideration of the payment of $2,277.75. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 45791-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, $25 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and WHEREAS, C~THOMPSON and ~.~_I~%~J~.T~Q.~IP~D~ have pre- sented to the City two deeds dated February 7, 1961, conveying easements for street purposes on the North side of Fifth Street, West of the Santa And River and on the North side of Fifth Street, East of Willowick Drive, in consideration of the payment of $3,582.95. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 45796-F, with the Security Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, California; and WHEREAS, ~R~R ~-_~LHQM~.~LQ~ has presented to the City a deed dated February 7, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North side of Fifth Street, East of Harper Street, in con- ~,~ sideration of the payment of $2,361.60. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 45830-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and -1- WHEREAS, AND~_~_~R. BOERSMA and O~have presented to the City a deed dated February 8, 1961, conveying an easement for street purposes on the South side of Fifth Street, East of Harper Street, in consideration of the payment of $3,173.25. Said transaction is to he handled through Escrow No. 45831-F with the Security Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and WHEREAS, ~mR~T MELTON and ~~,have presented to the City a deed dated November 2, 1960, conveying an easement for street purposes on the North side of Edinger Avenue, West of Fairview / ! Street, in consideration of the payment of $988.00. Said trans- action is to be handled through Escrow No. 45832-F with the Security Title Insurance CO~apany, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; and DENHAM and F~.~_~/A~have presented to the City a deed dated February 3, 1961, conveying Lot iI of J. W.. Birt's Subdivision, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, Page 48 of Miscellaneous Maps, ~ records of Orange County, California, in consideration of the payment of $14,573.11 as basic consideration, and $114.81 for pre-payment penalty, plus interest as demanded and costs of refinancing to be paid to First Federal Savings and Loan of Long Beach. Said trans- action is to be handled through Escrow No. 45858-F with the Security Title Insurance cc~pany, 825 North Broadway, Santa Aha, california. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
