B. 354 AND URGING ITS ADOPTION WHEREAS, during the past ten years, a period of extremely rapid growth and constantly increasing projects of street, water, sewer, drainage and building construction by public agencies, the uselessness and waste resulting fr~m the continuous publishing and republishing of wage rates with each notice inviting bids has become clearly apparent to everyone in any way connected with the letting of contracts by public agencies. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: %~at the City Council of the City of Santa Ana urges every men.bet of the Legislature of the State of California to lend his active support to Assembly Bill 354 in the interest of public economy and the elimination of legislative pro- visions that have become dollar wasting, time consuming and wholly useless requirements. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of February, 1961.
