L Form 001 ATTACHMENT licit AGREEMENT TO INDEMNIEY AND HOLD HARMLESS We, the undersigned, on our own behalf and on behalf of our Successors in interest and assigns, in consideration of being permitted to use any part of that premises known as the Anaheim- Garden Grove-Orange Fire Training Facility, located at 2400 E. Orangewood Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92806, or any of the furnishings, fixtures or equipment of whatever nature located, therein, hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Anaheim-Garden Grove-Orange Fire Training Authority, a Joint Powers Agency, its officers, employees, agents and each of its members, Jointly and severally, against all claims, injuries, damages, demands, liabil- ities or expense of whatever nature sustained to person or property as a result of the use of such premises by undersigned or the use by undersigned of any of the furnishings, fixtures or equipment F i' of whatever nature located therein. We, the undersigned, further agree to pay any and all Judgements which may be rendered against Anaheim-Garden Grove-Orange Fire Training Authority, a Joint Powers Agency, its officers, employees , agents and each of its members as a result of the use of such pre- mises by undersigned or the use by undersigned of any of the fur- nishings, fixtures or equipment of whatever nature located therein. We, the undersigned, further agree that the Anaheim-Garden Grove- Orange Fire Training Authority or its agent may in its sole discretion require that the Anaheim-Garden Grove-Orange Fire Training Authority be named as an additional insured, with adequate proof of insurance, in order to insure compliance with the above agreement. We . will be conducting manipulative skills for 30 reserve firefighters as part of an 80 hour reserve orientation academy. We will supply all of our own equipment for this training. DOCUMENT ON FILE IN CLERK'S OFFICE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Santa Ana Fire Department does not have a training facility. This agreement will allow for the use of the Anaheim-Garden Grove-Orange Net 4 Fire Training Center for the training and evaluation of Santa Ana firefighting personnel on a temporary and intermittant basis . The use of this facility is required in order to maintain above ground manipulative skills , this would include hose lays , ladders , life lines and rescue evolutions .
